Zivilgesellschaftliche Organisationen im Bereich der Vielfaltsgestaltung und Extremismusprävention sehen sich nach wie vor mit starken Einschränkungen der eigenen Arbeit, Anfeindungen und Bedrohungen konfrontiert. Sie sind durch ihre öffentliche Exponierung damit besonderen Herausforderungen ausgesetzt. Dieser Abschlussbericht gibt Einblick in die Ergebnisse einer Kurzstudie, für die mehrheitlich Initiativen des bundesweiten Förderprogramms "Demokratie leben!" des Bundesministeriums für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend befragt wurden. Aus den Daten ergeben sich drei zentrale Bereiche, in denen die Organisationen Unterstützungsbedarfe signalisierten: Die Beratungsstellen sehen sich sowohl durch (1) physische Gewalt und (2) ein diffuses Klima der Unsicherheit als auch durch (3) Ressourcenknappheit bedroht. Die Bedrohungslagen gehen nicht nur vom rechten Rand, sondern auch zunehmend von der Mitte der Gesellschaft aus. Dieser Bericht erfasst die Bedarfe zivilgesellschaftlicher Beratungsarbeit in den Bereichen Antidiskriminierung, Antirassismus und Gruppenbezogene Menschenfeindlichkeit, um daraus Handlungsempfehlungen für den Bund abzuleiten. Durch deren Umsetzung soll die tägliche Beratungsarbeit sicherer gestaltet werden können.
