Abstract
Introduction: The caregiver is a fundamental pillar in current health systems, especially in light of increased longevity and chronic diseases. The objective of this review is to identify the main health problems of caregivers and the possible interventions that could contribute to an improvement in the quality of life of this group. Methods: A systematic search was conducted through Punto Q (ULL information search portal) in the databases PEDro, ENFISPO, PubMed, Web of Science, and EBSCO Host, with the aim of finding evidence on this topic from the last 10 years. Results: Out of a total of 624 articles found, 13 were selected after applying search criteria and filters. The methodological quality of each article is evaluated using the Newcastle-Ottawa scale.
