Abstract
RESUMEN El presente artículo describe la ideología lingüística contenida en las obras folklorológico-literarias de la Sociedad de Folklore Chileno. El estudio se basa en un conjunto de trabajos representativos de la producción de esta institución, escritos por Agustín Cannobbio y Ramón Laval, y fechados entre 1901 y 1923. Se identifican los principales ideologemas de estos discursos metalingüísticos y se esbozan hipótesis sobre su papel en la conformación de regímenes de normatividad social en el Chile de comienzos del siglo XX. Se comprueba la presencia de elementos observados en otras zonas de la producción de esta sociedad, como el hispanismo y la inferiorización discursiva de los sujetos subalternos, que dan cuenta de la inscripción de estos discursos en el dispositivo modernizador positivista que moviliza el Estado chileno en esa época.
