Abstract
RésuméCet ouvrage propose une enquête ethnographique menée à chaud sur LinkedIn, principale plateforme professionnelle contemporaine, à partir d'une posture de praticien-observateur qui a luimême connu la mutation algorithmique documentée. L'auteur, consultant et chercheurindépendant, y élabore et défend un concept central : la kénose professionnelle. Ce terme désigne leprocessus par lequel les professionnels sont progressivement dépouillés de la substance de leurexpertise au profit de sa performance algorithmiquement optimisée. L'analyse déploie une topographie de la plateforme articulée en quatre niveaux : cognitif (aplanissement de la pensée, binarisation du débat, annulation de la raison par l'émotion), social(hiérarchies alternatives d'adoubement algorithmique, communautés spectrales), économique (ubérisation invisible des métiers intellectuels, marché déguisé en réseau, extraction cognitive) etidentitaire (performance permanente du soi professionnel). Un traitement spécifique est consacréaux mutations introduites par l'IA générative (GPT, Claude, Llama, DeepSeek), qui achèventl'industrialisation de la performance d'expertise. L'enquête mobilise les travaux de Weber, Goffman, Bourdieu, Illouz, Berlant, Han, Zuboff, Eco,Stiegler, Sennett, Foucault, Buber, Levinas, Sandel et d'autres, tout en construisant un appareilconceptuel propre : émophèmes, loi de Gresham de l'expertise, pensée Canada Dry, communautésspectrales, marché des citrons appliqué aux services intellectuels, réexistence professionnelle. En conclusion, l'ouvrage esquisse les voies d'une réexistence professionnelle : lucidité algorithmique, réappropriation évaluative, écosystèmes relationnels alternatifs, communautés de pratique,souveraineté du temps cognitif. L'enjeu déborde LinkedIn. Il touche à la place et à la forme que nossociétés donnent au travail dans une vie humaine épanouie.
