Abstract
El objetivo principal de la monografía fue la elaboración de los lineamientos para articular la política pública llamada “Estilos de Vida y Comportamientos Saludables para una Comunidad con Futuro” (la cual se encuentra plasmada en el acuerdo 004 de 26 mayo de 2015 del Concejo municipal de Floridablanca) con la estrategia “Escuelas Saludables” (estrategia que se adoptó en Colombia en 1997 y cuyo fin es la promoción de la salud en el ámbito escolar) en el municipio de Floridablanca, Colombia, tomando como base las cinco áreas operacionales de la promoción para la salud propuestas en la carta de Ottawa de 1986, involucrando además a sectores como cultura, recreación y deportes. La metodología utilizada fue el análisis de contenido temático de documentos relacionados principalmente con temáticas de promoción de la salud, escuelas saludables y estilos de vida saludables, teniendo en cuenta las normas nacionales e internacionales existentes que reglamentan dichos temas, todo esto enmarcado dentro de la fase de implementación del ciclo de la política. Estos lineamientos: 1. Política pública y planes operativos para el fomento de los estilos de vida y comportamientos saludables, 2. Participación social y gestión intersectorial, 3. Fortalecimiento de la capacidad técnica del talento humano para el fomento de estilos de vida saludables, 4. Reorientación de servicios de salud y bienestar, 5. Ambientes escolares saludables, serán la ruta ineludible a seguir y deberán ser tenidos en cuenta por las sucesivas administraciones municipales para el logro de muchos de los objetivos en salud del municipio, por tal motivo deberán incorporarse al plan decenal de salud pública municipal así como evaluar sus resultados en el corto, mediano y largo plazo, para el beneficio de la población florideña.
