Abstract
La précarité des bébés est envisagée au regard de la précarité des parents. Pour l’étudier, l’auteur fait l’hypothèse que la précarité du parent impacte le bébé quand le parent n’arrive pas à réaménager son self, son soi, pour rencontrer son bébé. Après avoir rappelé les différentes dimensions de la parentalité, il montre comment la naissance constitue un bouleversement identificatoire chez le parent, qui peut être débordé par ses pulsions et les empiétements de son self. Différentes configurations sociales peuvent servir d’appui au parent, comme les rites, la structure familiale, le domaine médical, les différentes modalités de faire parent ou d’autres appuis socioéconomiques. Il doit pouvoir s’approprier ces différentes configurations, qui sont actuellement souvent en pleine évolution. Tout un travail psychique groupal est aussi nécessaire pour accompagner cet aménagement du soi du parent : il s’effectue au sein de sa famille et dans ses groupes d’appartenance. L’auteur conclut que, pour lutter contre la précarité des liens chez le bébé, il faudrait à la fois développer une écoute de la fragilité de la transformation du self parental et contribuer à apporter les appuis auxquels tout parent a légitimement droit.
