Abstract
Enseignants en humanités dans une école d’ingénieurs, nous nous retrouvons dans les positions se revendiquant postcritiques par le constat que l’approche critique, si fondamentale qu’elle soit, ne suffit pas à un enseignement en anthropocène, en particulier sur son versant éthique. Cette situation nous interpelle en tant qu’enseignants, comme animateurs d’un espace propice à la discussion avec et entre les élèves, et comme passeurs de savoirs issus des sciences humaines et sociales, dont la rencontre avec les sciences naturelles est difficile à créer. Dans cet article, nous revenons sur les limites des approches critiques que nous rencontrons dans notre pratique pédagogique. Nous présentons la tentative de dépassement par des influences postcritiques, en continuité avec un héritage local ancré dans une tradition phénoménologique en prenant appui sur les travaux de Gaston Berger. Dans cette perspective, l’attention portée au sujet nous conduit à nous aventurer vers des horizons éthiques thématisés par la connaissance de soi.
