Abstract
Maraknya peristiwa karakter anak indonesia yang menyimpang pada zaman ini menjadi sebuah perhatian khusus bagi pemerhati pendidikan. Tujuan dilakukannya sosialisasi ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada siswa baru kelas X di SMK N 2 Batam tentang pentingnya Pendidikan Karakter bagi anak bangsa. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara luring di gedung SMK N 2 Batam. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan ini adalah dengan ceramah memberikan materi nilai – nilai karakter dan tanya jawab. Dalam kegiatan ini disampaikan materi Pendidikan karakter yang kan membentuk karakter bangsa yang lebih baik yaitu nilai – nilai pendidikan karakter yang dapat diimplementasikan oleh para peserta yaitu nilai religius, nilai nasionalis, nilai integritas, nilai mandiri dan gotong royong. Pada sesi tanya jawab, peserta memberikan pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan motivasi dari penerapan nilai nilai pendidikan karakter. Berdasarkan penilaian dari kegiatan yang dilaksanakan peserta dapat memahami materi dengan baik ditandai dengan peserta dapat menjawab pertanyaan yang diajukan oleh pemateri.
