Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan dukungan pendidikan dan sosial kepada anak-anak di Panti Asuhan dan Pondok Tahfiz Al-Huffaz Batam. Melalui pendekatan partisipatif, mahasiswa Universitas Internasional Batam menyelenggarakan dua kegiatan utama: (1) pengajaran matematika interaktif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dasar, dan (2) pemberian sembako untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi perencanaan berbasis kebutuhan, pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, serta evaluasi partisipatif. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan antusiasme belajar anak-anak, terutama dalam matematika, serta terbangunnya hubungan emosional antara mahasiswa dan penerima manfaat. Kegiatan ini juga mengasah keterampilan mengajar, komunikasi, dan empati mahasiswa. Rekomendasi untuk keberlanjutan mencakup perluasan materi ajar, kolaborasi lintas disiplin ilmu, dan pendampingan jangka panjang. Program ini menegaskan peran perguruan tinggi dalam mendorong kesetaraan pendidikan dan kepedulian sosial.
