Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Drone based (RPAS) elevation and imagery data collected for the nearshore habitats off the Hakai Institute's Quadra Island Facility. Data was collected on August 21st, 2017 using a Phantom 3 Pro drone and a Topcon GR5 RTK survey system. The goal of the flights was to map fucus research sites with imagery and elevation models. Fucus research and data request was conducted by Matt Lemay (Hakai Institute). Date / Time: August 21st, 2017: 11:13 am to 12:05 pm. Tide: 1.0 to 1.1 meters. Ground Sampling Distance: 2.3 cm Ground Control Points: 17 Area Covers: 9.9 hectares RMS Error: 0.024 m Coordinate System: NAD83 UTM 10 Processing was completed in Pix4D photogrammetry software and analysis in Esri ARC GIS software. Field operators Keith Holmes and William Hall. RPAS flight altitude: 40 - 55 meters. MOBE ID number: U0276

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
