Abstract
Araştırma, primer dismenoresi olan lise öğrencilerine uygulanan Duygusal Özgürlük Tekniği'nin ağrı şiddeti ve menstrüel semptomlar etkisini belirlemek amacıyla randomize kontrollü olarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya Ankara İli Gölbaşı ilçesinde bulunan Zübeyde Hanım Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi, Şehit Sebahattin Koçak Kız Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi ve Milli İrade Uluslararası Kız Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi'nde öğrenim gören, primer dismenore tanısı alan 25'i müdahale ve 24'ü kontrol grubunda olmak üzere toplam 49 kız öğrenci dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmada veriler, "Kriterlere Uygunluğu Belirleme Formu", "Tanıtıcı Özellikler Formu", "Görsel Analog Skala", "Mcgill Ağrı Ölçeği Kısa Form" ve "Menstrüasyon Semptom Ölçeği" kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Veri toplama araçları her iki grupta bulunan öğrencilere Duygusal Özgürlük Tekniği'ne başlamadan önce doldurtulmuştur. Araştırmada müdahale grubunda bulunan öğrencilere 12 hafta boyunca, her siklusta 15 gün olacak şekilde yüz yüze ve çevrim içi olarak Duygusal Özgürlük Tekniği uygulanmıştır. Kontrol grubunda bulunan öğrencilere 12 hafta boyunca herhangi bir müdahalede bulunulmamıştır. Her iki grupta bulunan öğrencilere Duygusal Özgürlük Tekniği uygulanmadan önce, uygulamanın 12. haftasında ve uygulama süreci bittikten sonraki 4. haftada Mcgill Ağrı Ölçeği Kısa Form ve Menstrüasyon Semptom Ölçeği doldurtulmuştur. Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesinde; Pearson ki-kare test, Likelihood Ratio, ki-kare test ve Bonferroni test düzeltmesi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmamızda müdahale grubunda bulunan öğrencilerin yaş ortalamasının 15.6±1.1, kontrol grubunda bulunan öğrencilerin ise yaş ortalamasının 15.4±1.1 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmamızda müdahale ve kontrol grubundaki öğrencilerin ön testte menstrüel ağrı şiddeti ve menstrüel semptomlarının yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Müdahale grubundaki öğrencilerin 12. haftada ve uygulama süreci bittikten sonraki 4. haftada McGill Ağrı Ölçeği ve bölümleri ile Menstrüasyon Semptom Ölçeği ve tüm alt boyutlarından aldıkları puan ortalamalarının kontrol grubuna göre azaldığı ve aralarındaki farkın anlamlı olduğu belirlenmiştir (p
