Georges Lefebvre et les premires Annales, le rapprochement tient tout la fois de l'vidence et de l'oubli 1 . Mais, avant de parler d'vidence, il convient de savoir de ce dont on parle : de liens institutionnels, d'appartenance un rseau, de communaut de travail, de concidences des positions, ou d'changes intellectuels En clair, pour citer Franois Dosse, s'agit-il de recomposer une histoire d'intellectuels ou une histoire intellectuelle 2 ? Je me donne ici pour contrat d'explorer les liens intellectuels de la production de Lucien Febvre et de Marc Bloch avec l'oeuvre de Georges Lefebvre, jusqu'en 1940. Mais, avant d'en venir ce que les hommes des Annales lisaient dans les travaux de Georges Lefebvre, il convient de mesurer l'intensit du lien et la ralit de la distance entre eux.
