En los ultimos tiempos se ha debatido ampliamente sobre el derecho de huelga de los jueces, sin que haya podido llegarse aun a una posicion pacifica. Practicamente inedito es, sin embargo, el interes de la doctrina por el ejercicio de este derecho fundamental por parte de fiscales y abogados del Estado, que tambien carecen en este ambito de una regulacion legal especifica y comparten con jueces y magistrados muchos de los rasgos que justifican un tratamiento diferenciado. Con una vision de Derecho comparado y a partir de una presentacion general de la situacion de los colectivos equivalentes en Quebec, este trabajo contiene una cronica de la huelga que sacudio la Administracion de Justicia de aquella provincia canadiense durante el ano 2011. Su seguimiento tuvo importantes efectos juridicos, con la adopcion de varias leyes especiales y recursos de inconstitucionalidad, y ecos sobre otros colectivos con relacion de sujecion especial donde la titularidad del derecho de huelga tambien es controvertida y resultan afectados igualmente otros derechos fundamentales.
