Abstract
RESUMEN Objetivo.- Conocer las caracteristicas de los articulos cientificos de las revistas de la Facultad de Medicina periodo 2000-2012. Materiales y metodos.- Estudio descriptivo, realizado a traves de la revision de los articulos publicados en las Revistas de la Facultad de Ciencias Medicas periodo 2000 – 2012. El instrumento de recoleccion de datos fue un formulario probado, en el que constan indicadores bibliometricos. Los resultados fueron procesados en el sistema SPSS 15.00. RESULTADOS.- La mayoria de articulos fueron publicados el ano 2012 en un numero de 32; 207 autores masculinos y 117 femeninos; caracterizados con un solo autor en un 46%; los trabajos originales predominaron con un 51.6%, de tipo cuantitativo con un 50,8%. Un porcentaje de 56,4% de los articulos no cumplen las normas de Vancouver. La colaboracion internacional en un 3.9%, y en colaboracion interinstitucional en un 7,8%, del cual el 2.3% lo hace junto con el MSP. El 52,3% de los articulos tienen coautoria. Con coautoria interinstitucional en un 15,6% de los articulos. El hospital es el espacio en el que se han realizado la mayor parte de las investigaciones, siendo los pacientes los mayores beneficiarios con un 39%. Las referencias mas frecuentes fueron libros con un 83,6 % y revistas con un 52,3%. CONCLUSIONES.- Con el presente estudio se pudo determinar que la mayoria de los articulos publicados fueron estudios cuantitativos descriptivos en los que no se aplican normas de Vancouver. El factor de impacto y el factor H, no fueron encontrados en ninguno de los articulos. PALABRAS CLAVES.
