III Congreso de Tecnologia de la Salud Para este trabajo se consultaron bases de datos bibliograficas de la Biblioteca Virtual de Salud, entre ellas SciELO, y, motores de busquedas como el Google, y el Localizador de Informacion en Salud (LIS). El criterio para la seleccion de la informacion en linea, fue, priorizar instituciones, y/o autores reconocidos nacional e internacionalmente, preferiblemente de los ultimos 5 anos. Se utilizaron contenidos de las Carreras: Gestion de la Informacion en Salud (GIS) y Sistemas de Informacion en Salud (SIS). Se visitaron entre otros, los sitios del ICJME, y fisterra.com Atencion Primaria en la red. Se descargaron los Requisitos de Uniformidad de manuscritos enviados a revistas biomedicas, en su version de abril de 2010, revisada en julio de 2012, de la Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona y el libro: Citing Medicine: the NLM style guide for authors, editors, and publishers 2007. Se realizo un exhaustivo trabajo de mesa, para determinar, entre mas de 45 documentos analizados, los puntos de contacto en la interpretacion de los Requisitos de Uniformidad, traducidos al espanol; seleccionandose preferentemente, las Guias de Trabajo para referencias; y similares, de la revista Acta Medica Peruana; las presentadas por la Universidad de Carlos III, Madrid, las de la Universidad La Laguna, las guias de la Biblioteca de la Universidad de Malaga (BUMA) y de la Biblioteca del Complejo Hospitalario Universitario “Juan Canalejo”, todas en Espana; y se utilizaron elementos proporcionados por la Universidad San Carlos, en Guatemala; las Universidades Autonoma, y Americana, ambas en Asuncion, Paraguay; y la Universidad de Antioquia, Colombia.
