Abstract
Cet article a pour but de présenter un aperçu d’un modèle de partenariat utilisé dans le cadre de l’étude de recherche intitulée “Needs of patients with cancer and their family members in New Brunswick Health Region 3 (NBHR3)” (Tamlyn-Leaman, Creelman et Fisher, 1997). Cette répétition partielle d’une étude réalisée par les trois auteurs entre 1995 et 1997 était une évaluation des besoins adaptée de travaux antérieurs de Fitch, Vachon, Greenberg, Saltmarche et Franssen (1993) avec la permission de ces derniers. On a établi un partenariat entre les secteurs universitaire, public et privé afin de mener une évaluation des besoins en profondeur au moyen de ressources limitées. Une illustration de ce partenariat est présentée dans le modèle “Modèle de partenariat centré sur la clientèle”. On décrit le fonctionnement de ce partenariat, notamment les forces, les avantages perçus, les leçons qu’en a tiré chacun des partenaires, les obstacles et le processus de résolution des conflits. On y donne également un résumé des initiatives en cancérologie entreprises par la Région 3, qui ont été influencées directement ou indirectement par les recommandations présentées dans cette étude.
