espanolComo en una obra teatral, en los articulos cientificos hay un inicio (Introduccion), un nudo (Material y metodos y Resultados) y un desenlace (Discusion). En la Discusion se analiza el significado de los hallazgos del estudio, se destacan los aspectos nuevos y relevantes y las principales conclusiones, se analizan e interpretan los datos de la investigacion segun la metodologia empleada, y se concreta una respuesta (conclusion) a la pregunta (objetivo) de investigacion. En la Discusion se debe dar respuesta a cuatro apartados esenciales: validez cientifica, importancia clinica, novedad y utilidad clinica. El cuidado en seleccionar y transcribir la bibliografia de un articulo cientifico orienta sobre bastantes aspectos, pero uno esencial es el rigor con el que se ha realizado un estudio. Las referencias bibliograficas constituyen una seccion destacada en un trabajo cientifico, en que la seleccion cuidadosa de documentos relevantes es un elemento que da solidez a la exposicion teorica del texto, a la vez que constituye una importante fuente de informacion para el lector. Es fundamental conocer bien los estilos de citacion para elaborar las referencias bibliograficas basadas en los «requisitos de uniformidad» (el estilo Vancouver es el mas utilizado en ciencia medica). Finalmente, cabe considerar cuatro apartados que suelen ir al final del documento y que tambien son de interes: Agradecimientos, Financiacion, Conflictos de intereses y Anexos. EnglishAs in a theatre play, an article has a beginning (Introduction), middle (Methods and Results) and outcome (Discussion). In the Discussion we analyse the significance of the study findings, we highlight new and important aspects of the study and key conclusions, analyse and interpret research data according to the methodology and we specify a response (conclusion) to the question research (objective). In the Discussion we address four key areas: scientific validity, clinical relevance, novelty and clinical utility. Care in selecting and transcribing bibliography in a scientific paper focuses on many aspects, but one essential is the rigor with which a study was conducted. References are a prominent section in a scientific paper, where the careful selection of relevant documents is an element that gives strength to theoretical exposition of the text, as well as an important source of information for the reader. It is important to know the to make the references based on the uniform requirements (Vancouver style is the most widely used in medical science). And finally, four sections that usually go at the end of the document and which are also of interest must be taken into account: Acknowledgments, Funding, Conflicts of interest and Annexes.
