Cette entrevue avec Michèle Stanton-Jean, présidente du comité conjoint sur la conduite responsable en recherche des fonds de recherche du Québec, se propose de faire connaître les étapes de l’élaboration et les processus de gestion de la Politique du Québec sur la conduite responsable en recherche. Adoptée en 2014 par les trois fonds de recherche du Québec : Le Fonds de recherche nature et technologie, le Fonds de recherche santé et le Fonds de recherche société et culture, cette politique vise à donner aux institutions qui reçoivent des fonds de recherche une marche à suivre précise sur la gestion des allégations de mauvaise conduite en recherche. Fruit d’un processus de révision des politiques similaires appliquées au Canada aux États-Unis et en Europe et de consultations impliquant tous les acteurs concernés (universités, centres de recherche, hôpitaux et collèges (CEGEP) où se déroule la recherche. Le document décrit les valeurs et les manquements à la conduite responsable en recherche sur lesquelles repose la politique. Il offre aussi une brève revue des actions menées en France pour atteindre les mêmes objectifs puisque le Québec souhaite poursuivre une collaboration soutenue avec la France sur ce sujet qui est essentiel au maintien du lien de confiance avec le public.
