Abstract
Esta es la primera entrega de una selección que, con la autorización del autor, nos proponemos presentar en versión bilingüe francés-español en los siguientes números de Mutatis Mutandis.Se trata de un trabajo sistemático y minucioso realizado por el Profesor Jean Delisle; un diccionario de citas que despertó inmediatamente nuestro interés, dado que viene a colmar un vacío de visibilidad que afecta todavía la reflexión en historia de la traducción y en traductología.El libro propone una variedad de temas en relación con la imagen de la traducción y del traductor, presentados en orden alfabético, definiendo algunas veces, otras describiendo, actitudes, concepciones y percepciones de los traductores y sobre los traductores y esto en diferentes épocas y desde diferentes perspectivas y contextos.La selección para este número comienza con Effacement du traducteur/La invisibilidad del traductor (pp.65-66 del original) en traducción de Gladys Gallego, precisamente como anti-corolario al tema de este número de Mutatis Mutandis, dedicado a la figura del traductor en la consolidación de las culturas.Pretendiendo ilustrar la "miseria y el esplendor de la traducción", el segundo grupo de citas corresponde a Art difficile/Un arte difícil (pp.10-15
