Abstract
Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de actitud hacia la investigación en estudiantes de estomatología de la Universidad Privada San Juan Bautista, Lima Perú, 2021. Materiales y métodos: El diseño del estudio es no experimental de tipo descriptivo, transversal, prospectivo y observacional. La muestra estuvo conformada por 132 estudiantes de estomatología de sexto a décimo ciclo de una población de 200, que se obtuvo mediante una fórmula para estimación de una proporción en una población conocida. El instrumento utilizado fue un cuestionario ya validado “nivel de actitud hacia la investigación en estudiantes” Resultados: El cuestionario fue respondido por 132 encuestados; el género que prevaleció fue el sexo femenino (65,9%); el ciclo académico con mayor tasa de respuesta fue el noveno ciclo (31,1%). De acuerdo al nivel de actitud hacia la investigación, más de la mitad de encuestados (62,1%) obtuvo una actitud muy positiva; esta actitud muy positiva fue reflejada hacia la elaboración de artículos científicos (88,6%), la participación en investigación (61,4%), también hacia las acciones de la universidad para incentivar la investigación (62,9%) y los parámetros en la investigación dentro de la universidad (58,3%). Más de la mitad de los encuestados obtuvieron una actitud positiva frente la posibilidad de realizar investigación dentro de la universidad (66,7%) y la revisión de material de investigación (53,8%). Conclusión: Se concluyó que más de la mitad de los encuestados poseen una actitud muy positiva hacia la investigación.
