En 2015, le gouvernement du Québec a entrepris une vaste restructuration du réseau de la santé et des services sociaux en réorganisant les 182 établissements existants en 34 centres intégrés de santé et de services sociaux, centres intégrés universitaires de santé et services sociaux, centres hospitaliers universitaires et instituts universitaires. Toutefois, ces nouvelles mégastructures ont rapidement été confrontées aux différences de missions, de modes de gouvernances et de pratiques entre les anciens établissements et ceux qui venaient d’être constitués. Dans ce contexte, cet article présente les interrogations et les réflexions suscitées lors d’une initiative de recherche collaborative en éthique organisationnelle au Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de Chaudière-Appalaches, en vue de faciliter le développement d’une culture éthique commune. Après avoir décrit cette initiative de recherche, les autrices et auteurs présentent quelques questionnements qui en sont issues. Ils réfléchissent ensuite à l’apport des sciences sociales, et de l’anthropologie en particulier, à la recherche en éthique. Cette réflexion souhaite contribuer à enrichir le champ du développement et de l’évaluation des interventions en éthique organisationnelle en santé et services sociaux, en plus d’éclairer l’apport de la recherche intégrée à l’éthique organisationnelle.
