En este trabajo de grado cuyo objetivo principal es Identificar, conocer y estudiar diferentes Sellos de Certificación y códigos de conducta en Fincas Cafeteras que actualmente se manejan en el País y tomando como un caso práctico de certificación una finca del municipio de San Francisco – Cundinamarca con el sello Rain Forest Alliance.Se realizó consulta literaria, de diferentes fuentes, y entidades privadas, para obtener información verídica y confiable. Este trabajo consta de la parte teórica en cuanto a los Sellos de Certificación y códigos de conducta seguido de lo relacionado con el diseño metodológico que se llevó a cabo para realizar este trabajo y por último el desarrollo del caso práctico para la obtención del sello de certificación, junto con el trabajo de campo llevado a cabo para los 18 caficultores en total 9 certificados y 9 no certificados que gracias a la colaboración de la Federación Nacional de Cafeteros, sirvió como interlocutor inicial entre el investigador, los productores y sus familias.Por lo anterior y como resultado final, con la valoración de ciertos indicadores temáticos se pudo establecer las fortalezas y debilidades de las fincas visitadas en el municipio ya que todas tienen incidencia en los siguientes aspectos: económico, social, ambiental.Palabras claves: Certificación, Sellos de Calidad, Producción de Café
