Abstract
Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja pegawai, serta apakah gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui kepuasan kerja pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Untuk menjawab rumusan masalah maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja pegawai, serta menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai melalui kepuasan kerja pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan kuesioner, dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) versi 3.0. Hasil penelitian diperoleh temuan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja, gaya kepemimpinan ber-pengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja pegawai, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hasil uji mediasi diperoleh temuan bahwa kepuasan kerja dapat memediasi pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Kantor Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. The problem in this research is whether leadership style and work motivation influence job satisfaction and employee performance, as well as whether leadership style and work motivation influence employee performance through job satisfaction at the Population and Civil Registration Service of South Sulawesi Province. To answer the problem formulation, the aim of this research is to analyze the influence of leadership style and work motivation on job satisfaction and employee performance, as well as analyze the influence of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance through job satisfaction at the Population and Civil Registration Service of South Sulawesi Province. This research uses a quantitative approach, collecting data through observation and questionnaires, with data analysis techniques using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method version 3.0. The results of the research found that leadership style has a direct effect on job satisfaction, work motivation has a direct effect on job satisfaction, leadership style has a direct effect on employee performance, work motivation has a direct effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has a direct effect on employee performance. The results of the mediation test found that job satisfaction can mediate the influence of leadership style and work motivation on employee performance at the Population and Civil Registration Office of South Sulawesi Province.
