At the initiative of the editors of journal Industrija and without an agreement of the authors, the article by Ranković M., Vasković V. and Simović V. is being retracted. Paper is being retracted because it plagiarises several papers including: · Li Min (2006), 'Inflation and Economic Growth: Threshold Effects and Transmission Mechanisms' Department of Economics, University of Alberta, 8-14, HM Tory Building, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, T6G 2H4 · Nikola Tasic & Neven Valev (2008)'The Provision of Long-term Financing in the Transition Economies,' Working papers 14, National Bank of Serbia. · John Boyd & Bruce Champ, (2003) 'Inflation and financial market performance: what have we learned in the last ten years,' Working Paper 0317, Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. · Vikesh Gokal & Subrina Hanif (2004) 'Relationship between inflation and Economic growth' Working Paper 2004/04 December, Economics Department Reserve Bank of Fiji, Suva, Fiji Plagiarised text constitutes over 47% of the published paper. Editors have attempted to contact first and other authors on several occasions, but there was no response. Therefore the editors have decided to retract this paper without the agreement with the authors.
